Lost Lake is a small shallow lake in the City of Plymouth in the northern portion of the BCWMC. The lake has no public access and is surrounded residential homes. The lake’s shallow nature means aquatic plants cover most of the lake bottom. The water clarity of the lake is monitored by volunteers and appears to be worsening since 2009. Water quality samples from 1997 and 2017 show the lake as very having high levels of nutrients and chlorophyll-a (an indicator of high algae levels).
